About
You are the lone survivor of a plane crash, but you are not alone...
Survive the night by searching for the pieces needed to fix your radio while keeping your fire alive to keep the darkness at bay.
How to Play:
Please note: While the web build works fine, the standalone does give the best experience!
Instructions/Rules
Gameplay
There are 4 types of resources:
radio parts
fire
health
ammo
The object of the game is to collect all 5 radio parts by drawing from a deck of cards.
Every round you will be offered a choice of two cards. One visible and one hidden. Once a card is chosen, the card resolves and both cards are discarded.
Cards have various effects, raising or lowering resources or initiating battles with a creature.
Careful! Every time you burn through the deck, the discarded pile will be shuffled into the draw pile and the fire will drop a level.
If the fire dies out or your health reaches 0, you die.
Fighting
You will also encounter creatures that you will need to fight.
The player always attacks first, selecting the amount of shots to take. Each shot does between 1 and 6 damage. A punch does a single point of damage.
If a creature is defeated, you gain a reward that you will see scribbled on your notepad at the start of the next round.

I wonder if you ever fixed the win condition. I got all five parts twice, the first time I got a screen about not going into the long night, and the second time it reshuffled the deck again and kept playing till I ran out of fuel. Otherwise I love this game.
Hmmm...I will have to look into that. Thought it was fixed. Did you play the browser or Windows version?
Browser.
when i get all the radio parts nothing happens, how do i complete the game?
Do you have a screenshot? Getting all 5 parts should bring up a notebook with text describing your victory!
Really excellent concept - I would love to see this expanded upon. Superb stuff sir!
Thanks for your support! I am glad you enjoyed it, and rest assured, I am actively working on this! Expect some updates soon!
Wonderful news! :)
A new update has been released if you want to check it out!
Superb! Thanks for the message, will definitely check it out later 👍
Hey Neil, sorry for not coming back sooner; but just to say love the new look. I did like the doom and gloom eyes in the dark aspect of the original but this is more approachable; the card and gui style on the update is great - and the monsters! Would be great to see 3 differing monster models moving forward of course - and what location are we heading to next in our journey of survival! Could we find a car but need to obtain 5 parts to fix her up maybe? etc
Thanks again and I will be sure to keep in touch!
Thank you so much for your feedback!
I am pushing another update out on Friday/Saturday with two more monster models and a big change to combat.
From now on monsters always attacks first, but they can also miss. This makes combat much riskier, but the fact that they can miss, keeps up hope even when things seem very bleak!
A clue for the next location: you will find out that while you fixed the radio, there is no signal down in the valley...
same a level two maybe?
I am trying to figure out how to add some variability and extend the replayability of the game. I have some ideas to mix it up by adding story events for example.
